The program BP Innova Universities, organized by Banco Patagonia in collaboration with Tekuoia, closed its 2024 edition with a successful final day, carried out at the headquarters of the financial institution in CABA, in which the finalist university students presented innovative projects that seek to transform the financial sector through digital technology with a positive social and environmental impact.

This year, more than 250 students from 22 national universities, both public and private, clients of Banco Patagonia, participated, and after several stages of training and selection, seven teams reached the final, where they presented their projects to a specialized jury. The day culminated with the recognition of the best projects, which represent the talent and innovation of the new generations.

The awarded initiatives are the following:

Top Vaquita Cooperative Savings – National University of Chaco Austral

The winning team developed a collaborative savings platform that allows

users form groups and achieve common financial goals. With a flexible system that allows customization of rules and real-time management, users can save together to meet individual or group goals. Vaquita promotes a social approach to savings, increasing the likelihood of success and providing a mutually supportive environment for participants.

Second place ICO Master – National University of the South

Application designed to facilitate investment management in cryptocurrency pre-sales. Users can view all their investments in one place and

receive notifications about key dates, such as the release of new coins. With an intuitive interface and a modular system, the app allows investors to manage their assets efficiently and without complications, optimizing the control of their investments and minimizing errors.

Third place Park it Smart – National University of La Rioja

Mobile application that digitizes parking management in cities. It offers payment through virtual wallets and real-time notifications to keep the user informed about parking time. With an interactive map, drivers can locate available spaces and avoid congested areas. Its objective is to optimize urban mobility, reduce congestion and improve the driver experience.

honorable mention Focus – National University of San Martin

This project proposes a satellite monitoring system for critical infrastructure using synthetic aperture radars in low orbit. Its technology allows it to detect millimeter deformations in real time, sending early alerts to prevent disasters. At a significantly lower cost than traditional solutions, this platform seeks to democratize access to accurate data, allowing governments and companies to anticipate risks and protect lives and valuable assets.
