AFIP updated amounts from which banks must report movements

The last update had been made in 2018. The regulation of the tax authority that will be published this Thursday in the Official Gazette increases from $10,000 to $30,000 the minimum amount from which financial entities must report consumption with a credit card.

Likewise, General Resolution 5138/2022 raises from $30,000 to $90,000 the minimum figure to report monthly accreditations, monthly withdrawals, account balances and time deposits.

The regulation also introduces improvements in relation to the information reported by banks on the movements of the special accounts created for the repatriation of assets abroad linked to the Solidarity and Extraordinary Contribution as well as those provided for by the Normalization Program of the Incentive Law to Argentine Federal Construction and Access to Housing.
