The country’s leading stock exchange announced that there will be no operations on the last day of the year. Likewise, on the 24th there will be limited activity.
Argentine Stock Exchanges and Markets (Byma) reported that on December 24 there will be agreements on operations until 3:00 p.m.with the exception of the so-called Immediate Cash, Caution and currency futures and there being no settlement activity.
It is a solidarity work day since what was collected by Byma During that day, due to market rights, it will be donated in its entirety to collaborate with those who need it most.
What to keep in mind during 12/24?
1) Those operations arranged previously and whose maturity operates on December 24, will be included in the settlement processes of December 26, with the application of extensions in guarantees.
2) Agents who make referrals of operations arranged on December 23 in T+1, the Custodian Banks that confirm them, must accept them until 6:00 p.m. on December 23.
Besides, On Tuesday, December 31, there will be no trading or settlement activities at Byma.
