The president Javier Milei will travel to Washington to participate in the inauguration of Donald Trump as president of the United States invited by the republican leader, as confirmed by high sources from the Casa Rosada to Scope.

The ceremony will take place on January 20. In official media, work is being done on redefining Milei’s agenda since on that same date he was invited to participate in the World Economic Forum that takes place every year in Davos (Switzerland), an event attended by the most important businessmen. of the world and in which politicians and intellectuals participate.

On this tour, the president also planned to travel to Israel, heading to the cities of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Leaving protocol aside, Trump invited Milei to participate in his swearing-in in front of the Capitol, a decision that is interpreted as a new gesture of “the great ideological and personal affinity” that both leaders have, according to official media.

It should be remembered that, towards the end of February of this year, before the start of the election campaign in the United States, Milei met Trump at an event at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) – the most prestigious right-wing organization in the US. – where he explained his support for the Republican leader to return to the presidency of the first power.

Trump had gestures that reveal the particular consideration he has for Milei. Among them, he invited him to the annual meeting of the CPAC as soon as he was elected, an excuse to see him without breaking the protocol that forces him to previously have meetings with other foreign leaders such as, for example, the United Kingdom.

Another important milestone occurred at the beginning of the month, when the CPAC held a meeting in Buenos Aires in which Lara Trumpdaughter-in-law of the elected president and main architect of the campaign that led him to a second term.
