The National Media Group (NMG) holding and the founder of Comedy Club Production, producer Artur Dzhanibekyan announced the creation of a joint production company. Originals Production will create original content for the Russian market of digital platforms.
The Originals Production company intends to expand the possibilities of partners in the content production segment, as well as to attract the best representatives of the professional production environment.
As NMG CEO Svetlana Balanova noted, cooperation with Dzhanibekyan will give a new impetus to the creation of content for digital platforms.
“Content production for digital platforms is a great development potential in a highly competitive media market. Artur Dzhanibekyan is an incredibly talented media manager, thanks to whom new formats were successfully implemented on the Russian media market and new stars lit up,” she said.
Janibekyan himself believes that Originals Production will become the main birthplace of new meanings and trends.
“In addition to another opportunity to produce relevant and unique content, I am glad to feel like a co-owner of a new enterprise we are creating,” the producer emphasized.
Vyacheslav Murugov, Deputy General Director of NMG for entertainment broadcasting, said that the unification of creative teams will strengthen NMG’s position in the content production market and, in general, confirm the holding’s leading position in the content sector.
On December 18, 2021, it was reported that NMG and the Sberinterteyment group of companies created a joint venture LLC Telesport group. It will acquire the rights to broadcast major international sporting events in Russia.
