It is a step that unites Argentina and Paraguay through the cities of Ituzaingó and Ayolas, respectively, on the crowning of the Yacyretá dam.

The official rehabilitation occurred four years after the closure caused by the pandemic. According to the province, this step will offer a growth potential that will consolidate it as a strategic axis for binational connectivity.
Furthermore, the reconnection between the Ituzaingó and Ayola communities, which already registered a reopening on November 20facilitates not only cultural and tourist exchange, but also the decongestion of other border crossings. For the moment, this step will work between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Patricia Bullrich: “Today is a historic day”
