The left called for a new mobilization Plaza de Mayo for next Friday, December 20 against him “war plan” which he attributed to the government of Javier Milei and for “defend wages, work, pensions, health and education.”

Through a statement, the Workers Party (PO) pointed out: “In the historic days of the ‘Argentinazo’ of December 19 and 20, 2001, the people took to the streets to end the government of De la Rúa, Cavallo, Patricia Bullrich and Sturzenegger”.

In that sense, the left warned that “those who were thrown out by the people have returned” disguised in “libertarian clothing” to “finish what they could not do two decades ago.”

“In just one year they boast of having made humanity’s greatest adjustment, which implied a million new homeless people among those under 16 years of age, doubling poverty in the elderly, destroying hundreds of thousands of jobs, defunding health, education and public universities to the point of impossibility,” he added.

According to the PO, “this reactionary purpose of Milei is shared, beyond some nuances, by the entire capitalist class and the traditional parties” and that is why “they voted for the Bases law” and ““They refused to reject the vetoes against retirees and the university.”

In turn, he attacked the CGT and both CTA unions, because They “agreed” with Milei and “let the criminal adjustment pass” against Argentine society.

That is why they called for a mobilization for December 20 in what will be a “action organized by dozens and dozens of popular organizations.”

“It is the only way to defeat the war plan and defend salaries, jobs, pensions, health and education”concluded the PO.
