And an action that we must not forget is the pool cleaning. Thus, we avoid the accumulation of insects and leaves on the surface, the water ceasing to be clear and transparent, or the earth remaining stuck to the bottom of the pool.

A fundamental part that we have to emphasize when cleaning is the pool cover canvas. It is that waterproof fabric that covers and protects water not only from the sun, but also from rain. And for its proper maintenance, there is no need for expensive products, just things we already have at home are enough. I know how to do it.

How to clean the pool cover canvas

To clean the pool linen, just a few simple steps are enough:

  1. Remove the pool cover and I collected the leaves and branches that could have fallen on the canvas after the rain.
  2. Barré the surface with a dry brush.
  3. To remove stains, all you need to do is detergent and warm water. Using a non-abrasive sponge or brush, or the same brush, scrub and brush the fabric.
  4. In case of rust stains, use some remove tartar in those areas with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Remember that it is essential to use gloves in this step.
  5. Rinse with plenty of water.
  6. Let it dry well in the sun before putting it back on the pool or storing it (we prevent fungi from developing on the fabric).
