Edeka joins Payback, Rewe exits: Which is better for customers?
You should take the Payback discount with you when you shop. Or not? Why Edeka wants to give us a Payback discount in the future. And why that’s not a good thing.
Opinions differ when it comes to discount cards: some swear by them, others think they’re a rip-off. Now two of the largest grocers are changing course. Edeka, previously linked to the Deutschland Card, is switching to Payback. Rewe, on the other hand, is withdrawing from Payback – and is concentrating exclusively on its own app.
