Antonella Rodríguez, 32, died after being hit by a Volkswagen Suran driven by Anthony Fritz Ramos, a 27-year-old police officer from Buenos Aires who was off duty.
According to police sources, the incident occurred around 11:15 p.m., while the victim was going to buy fireworks for his daughters.

According to witnesses, the driver crossed lanes, hitting Rodríguez’s motorcycle squarely. Although she was transferred to Gandulfo Hospital, she arrived lifeless.
In the place, fFamily members and neighbors attacked the agent, who pulled out his gun and fired shots into the air to avoid being lynched. The police vehicle was later set on fire.
Security cameras in the area could confirm that the police officer invaded the opposite lane, although the incident remains under investigation.
The case was classified as “wrongful homicide” and the agent remains detained, waiting to be investigated by the local prosecutor’s office.
