As announced, This Friday at midnight the new increases in the prices of gasoline and diesel. The increase is due to the rise in fuel taxes, which directly impacts the values that consumers pay at the pumps. The increase is of the order of 1.75%.
The new values of the tax on liquid fuels and the tax on carbon dioxide were established in article 1 of decree 1134/2024, published days ago in the Official Gazette.
The measure enabled the increase to take effect as of January 1. However, the majority state oil company YPF retained the increase until the end of the festive period for New Year. The value will be valid until the 31st of the same month.
How much will gasoline cost during January?
