Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and Moana return to the Teatro Colón in February

After the success of sales, the Teatro Colón and Disney announce new performances of “Disney in concert: a symphonic tour” for February. This new visual and musical spectacle invites audiences of all ages to remember historic Disney songs performed live by the Teatro Colón Academic Orchestra.

Under the direction of Ezequiel Silberstein (February 7, 8 and 9) and Tomas Mayer-Wolf (February 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16), Disney in concert: a symphonic tour is an unprecedented show that takes the public on a journey through popular songs of all time, including “Un mundo ideal” by “Aladdin”, “Beauty and the Beast are” “Beauty and the beast”, “Endless cycle” of “The Lion King” “I am free” “Frozen”, “There is no talk of Bruno” “Charm”, and “How Far I Go” “Moana.”

Tickets are on sale at the Teatro Colón box office, Tucumán 1171, from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They can also be purchased online at prices starting at 25 thousand pesos.

Disney in Concert: A Symphonic Tour joins a growing list of co-productions between Disney and the Teatro Colón developed in recent years, including Magic and Symphony (2022), Disney 100 in Concert (2023), Pixar in Concert (2024) and STAR WARS shows like Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert (2023) and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert (2024).

All performances have sensory kits that include sound-reducing headphones, UVI green filter glasses and emotion cards with pictograms, which allow those who have some type of sensory hypersensitivity to reduce stimuli and have a much friendlier experience of the show.

As for the Teatro Colón Academic Orchestra, it takes place over two years and includes instrument classes, chamber music, orchestral repertoire, language and morphology of the symphonic and chamber repertoire, history and aesthetics of music, and orchestral practice. The teaching staff is made up of soloists from the Stable Orchestra of the Teatro Colón, the Buenos Aires Philharmonic and guests with international experience. The students of this degree make up, in turn, the Academic Orchestra of the Higher Institute of Art of the Teatro Colón.
