Today the INDEC will publish the Consumer Price Index data for December 2024. Thus, it will be possible to estimate the new increase in ANSES social benefits for the second month of the year.
The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) is the entity responsible for granting the necessary mechanisms so that all citizens have access, according to the law in force throughout the country, to the benefits and services that correspond to them. It is responsible, for example, for the payment of family allowances, retirements and benefits.
The new mobility formula proposes monthly increases. Thus, the organism dependent on Ministry of Human Capitalby decision of the National Government, confirmed last December an increase of 2.43% in its social benefits for this first month of the year, corresponding to the inflation data for November.
And this Tuesday, January 14, the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INDEC) will announce the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for December 2024and with that data it is possible to estimate the increase who will receive retirements, pensions, allowances and other social benefits in February 2025.

In July of last year, the new mobility formula and, since then, the increases in the amounts of ANSES benefits are monthly. This is because it is governed by the Decree 274/24 and takes as reference the Consumer Price Index (CPI) two months ago (analyzed by INDEC), and proposes an increase in benefits and social benefits proportional to this data.
For their part, the National Government and private consultants expect that the CPI data for December will be less than 3%. As is the case of Survey of Market Expectations (REM)prepared by Central Bank based on private estimates. Which calculated that inflation in the last month of 2024 reached 2.7%.
Taking into account the forecast made by this entity, retirees, pensioners and holders of the different ANSES assignments would receive in February 2025 a 2.7% increase in his possessions.
Under this line, in the second month of the year, the minimum retirementwithout the extra bonus, it would go from $265,907.01 to $273,086. Instead, the maximum retirement would reach $1,837,613.
