You arrive at Divisadero del Mar and you find a unique landscape. The large house where the first grocery store and cafeteria in the area operated was completely recycled a few years ago and now houses a beach Parador and the Zur Restaurant, serving coastal food. The idea was to keep intact the spirit with which this protected landscape was born, to achieve the maximum balance between the environment, the original project, the functionality of the building and respect for the natural elements and the rich history of the premises built in the 70s. .
When you climb the ramp surrounded by lavenders, which leads to the imposing white wooden structure where the Divisadero del Mar Club operates today, you are stepping on the place where it all began. The exact point of the town with the most history in all of Cariló. The first road reached that beach, which the visionary Héctor Guerrero opened between the dunes where Constancia Avenue runs to the sea. In 1928, what is now Cariló was the pasture of Estancia Dos Montes. With an iron will, Guerrero transported millions of plants and trees for more than a decade, using large horse-drawn carts, to fix the dunes and begin the afforestation of the land that later housed the layout of the lots that shaped Cariló.
Today, Divisadero Club de Mar is talking about the very foundation of the “Médano Verde”. Originally it included what was called the Big House of the Guerrero family, the stables, the shed, the Old Supply and the descent to the beach where, in the early 1970s, the main building of the spa was built as a distinctive element of a environment of coastal dunes, to which a solarium and a natatorium were incorporated. It was the architect Berro Madero who led the project and construction of the Confectionery, intended to receive visitors. The work included the remodeling of the old stable, adapted to be the first supply store in the area, and the aforementioned pool, built with the dual purpose of serving for fun and functioning, due to its strategic location, as a water reserve for firefighters. that in case of fire the fire engines can fill there.

The name Divisadero was not a casual choice: it is the perfect place from whose height you can see, as in a snapshot, the meeting of the sea, the beach and the forests that run between Villa Gesell and Pinamar.
The novelty turned out to be the proposal of the Zur Restaurant, which came to offer a cuisine that seeks to combine the flavors of sea and land, in a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to live an unforgettable gastronomic experience every day of the year, but that transforms in summer in a true experience of glamor facing the sea.
The Sea Club space was also renovated, which for this 2024/2025 season offers the beauty of its extensive beaches and the comfort of a large number of services with its tents and umbrellas, many recreation and wellness activities for the whole family and the access to its exclusive pool, the only one of the four paradores that Cariló has. Among what can be found at Divisadero Club de Mar are yoga and massage classes throughout the week, pizza party pool, healthy living talks by important specialists, high-level wine and cheese tastings, all sports for playing as a team and its tournaments, afternoons of live painting in the Art of Forest and Sea cycle with the Pinama artists Patricia Brandalisio and Analía Fontana. At night, themed dinners and parties are organized and at dusk a DJ is always invited to play the best music.

The big news is that this year the first 100% Tacc-free beach bar opens, based on cold-pressed seasonal fruits and vegetables with vegan options. Negra Bakere Botanic Patisserie opens this second week of January at the end of the walkway that goes down to the sea.
Without a doubt, the sun and the beach are the main protagonists of summer on the Coast. In this small place in the world that is Cariló, the intention is that you can enjoy that recharge of energy without giving up the quality and level of a spa with international standards.
