At the World Economic Forum in Davos, not only politicians and business bosses meet, but one or two celebrities also mingle with the powerful. An overview.
You can recognize all kinds of people in the corridors in Davos. Here a head of state walks past you, there a world-famous scientist and right behind a company boss. Familiar faces – that’s not unusual.
But sometimes you have to look twice: wasn’t that…? In fact, celebrities from completely different areas often travel to the World Economic Forum: from sport, culture or even from religious communities. They are usually invited because they are socially involved in addition to their main job and can therefore speak on topics such as children’s rights, climate change or equality.
