A good third of homeowners own a solar system in a survey, almost another third has corresponding plans.
The proportion of homes with a photovoltaic system could increase significantly in the coming years. In a survey by Allensbach on behalf of the Initiative Climate Neutral Germany, 36 percent of people who live in their own house already stated that they already had a solar system. Another 29 percent said that they did not yet have a plant, but they wanted to buy one over the next five years. If these announcements are implemented, the proportion of homes with solar rose to almost two thirds.
Party preferences played a role. Followers of the Greens particularly often had a system or wanted to buy one – together it was 84 percent. With 57 percent supporters, it was still a few – but still more than half. In between with 61 percent (BSW) Union and SPD with 67 and 69 percent as well as FDP and left with 73 and 75 percent.
Almost a quarter of the homeowners want to buy heat pump
With electric cars, a total of 12 percent of homeowners report to have one and 29 percent have corresponding plans – together 41 percent. That would be significantly more than a tripling. It is 70 percent for the fans of the Greens, and only 24 percent in the AfD.
According to the survey, a heat pump have 15 percent of homeowners. Another 23 percent want to buy one – that would be more than a doubling. Here, too, the affinity for the Greens fans is the highest added, 58 percent of the highest, at the AfD at 28 percent.
The numbers go back to a survey of more than 4,000 self -used home owners in September and October last year. The figures for this group sometimes differ greatly from the total population.
