For its part, the demand of non-residential users of less than 300 kilowatts (kW) increased by 4.85% and that of non-residential users of 300 or more kW increased by 9.75%.
Meanwhile, the provinces with the highest increase in demand for electricity during 2021 were Buenos Aires, Corrientes and Santa Cruz, all with an increase of more than 9%, while the lowest levels were detected in Formosa, San Juan and Tucumán.
In the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires plus Greater Buenos Aires, where the largest share of the total energy consumed in the country is concentrated (38.99%), the demand increased by 4.99%.
