The national government again extended the benefit that Exempt private schools to pay employer contributions, with the objective of Relieve the impact of quota increases on families. The measure was formalized through the publication of Decree 68/2025 in the Official Gazette, which establishes an extension until December 31, 2025.
This is the second time this benefit is grantedwhich was also applied in previous years by various administrations. The decree recalls that, in 2019, article 24 of Law No. 27,541 excluded employers from private educational establishments from the provisions of a chapter of said law until December 31, 2020allowing them to continue applying the same aliquots of employer contributions they had before that reform.

In cases where schools do not partially receive the state contribution, the increase in employer contributions could lead to an increase in tariffs that families must pay, affecting their economy. This, in turncould impact the provision of educational service, especially in the most needy regions and in limited resources institutions that serve the most vulnerable populations.
How much the fees of private schools increase in March
