“The part that supports tax collection is the formal sector of the economy and it is not that big”the president of the UIA warned today in statements to Futurock.
Although Funes de Rioja recognized that “the outlook is better”, he insisted on the advancement of measures that allow “recovering the formal sector, simplifying taxes and debureaucratizing the collection of taxes”, he added.
Therefore, “a real and effective analysis must be carried out so that the entire tax burden does not fall on the formal sector of the economy,” said Daniel Funes de Rioja.
Agreement with the IMF and economic reactivation
On the other hand, the industrial leader stressed the importance of Argentina’s understanding with the IMF, since it paves the way for growth and recovery of the economy.
“Argentina has to resolve the debt issue so that the 2021 reactivation becomes sustained growth”expressed Funes de Rioja.
Finally, the president of the UIA also stressed that “it is important to resolve access to international financial markets.” That is why he insisted that “the 4.0 industrial model” requires us to “invest in industry and technology”, he concluded.
