In 2021, 1.7 trillion rubles were allocated for the development of the transport industry, of which 1.69 trillion rubles were disbursed, which is 99.4%. This is a record execution of the budget, Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev said in an Interview.
According to him, in 2020, 1.216 trillion rubles were allocated from the budget to finance the transport complex. Thus, the growth was 40%.
At the same time, 99% of the funds, or 1.204 trillion rubles, were completed in 2020. In 2019, the volume of budget funds allocated to the transport complex amounted to 1.123 trillion rubles. Of these, 92% were completed.
The minister assessed the past year as a successful one for the industry.
“Firstly, for the first time we changed the general approach to the development of the transport complex for many years to come: the President of Russia approved, and the government approved the backbone document – the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030 with a forecast for the period up to 2035,” he said.
