The Ministry of Energy of the Nation announced, through Resolution 67/2025, the call “GBA storage – Almagba” To hire 500 MW of electrical storage capacity in critical nodes of the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA).
This initiative, unpublished in the country, implies an investment of US $ 500 million and an execution period of 12 to 18 months, aiming to improve the reliability of the electricity supply during demand peaks.
