According to the state corporation, the enterprise has fulfilled contracts with the administration of Krasnodar, Taganrog, Chelyabinsk and Magnitogorsk, and also continues to supply railcars for Novokuznetsk.
On the eve it became known that in Sarapul (Republic of Udmurtia) the production of tram electric motors will appear. According to the project, future production will be able to produce up to 1 thousand engines of its own design. This will allow completing 250 trams per year.
On January 8, Roman Novikov, general director of the Ust-Katav Carriage Works, announced plans to develop a high-speed tram that will be used to transport employees of the Vostochny cosmodrome. The tram will be divided into three sections, while five-section trams will be used in the ZATO Tsiolkovsky and at the cosmodrome.
