From the INDEC report the inflation last month was revealed, as well as the rise of different commercial items in the country.
Today, the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INDEC) announced that February inflation was 2.4%, while the year -on -year variation was 66.9%. This is the second lowest number of Javier Milei’s management, together with the November inflation last year. In this way, the accumulated annual variation is 4.7%.
In that sense, the last time a number was recorded below 2% was four and a half years ago, in July 2020, during strict pandemic and quarantine, with 1.9% monthly.

Food: how much prices rose in February 2025
The INDEC report reported that the division of Non -alcoholic foods and drinks increased by 3.2%so it becomes the second division that increased the most in the second month of the year. It is also the High -incidence of all regionsmainly due to increases in meats and derivatives.
Other items that increased in February 2025
On the other hand, the division that registered the greatest increase in February was Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (+3.7%), by rises in Housing rental and Related expenses and Electricity, gas and other fuels. Follows closely Non -alcoholic food and drinks (+3.2%) and Recreation and culture (+2,9).
