Donald Trump’s trading policy all -round is shaking the stock markets worldwide. The massive tariffs “against the whole world” imposed by the US President have been breaking the stock exchanges for days. On Monday, the courses continued to smear: For example, the German leading index and the EuroStoxx50 headed for the greatest daily losses since Corona pandemic.
Experts rate the losses as historical. Some even speak of a “black Monday of the 21st century” – an allusion to the 1987 stock exchange crash. The “Black Monday” was not the only black moment that the stock markets have experienced in the past decades.
