The user assistants of the traffic clubs of the traffic club also indicate that the lead increases. The most common cause of the breakdown was the usual suspect – regardless of the drive.
In the breakdown statistics of the ADAC, electric cars cut better than the combustion engine of the same age. In the case of cars that were first approved in 2020 to 2022, 4.2 breakdowns on 1000 vehicles came to the existing stock. According to the traffic club, it was 10.4. This confirms earlier knowledge of the traffic club – in view of the increasing electric car stock, on a significantly wider database.
And the Stromer even expands their lead: According to the evaluation, the scene of the breakdown decreases overall, but the three -year -old electric cars are particularly quick. Among other things, the ADAC attributes this to the fact that “many of the initial problems and weaknesses that electric vehicles had in the first few years have been remedied by the learning process of the manufacturers.”
The most common cause of the breakdown was again the starter battery, which caused problems both for combustion and electric cars by far. The evaluation was based on cases in which the breakdown helpers of the ADAC street guard were called, which were not due themselves and where it was not possible to continue.
