The amount of positions of illegal street sale in the city of Buenos Aires fell strongly during March 2025. According to the latest report of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC), they were detected 83 positions in totalwhich represents a year -on -year drop of 92.5% and one 15.3% reduction against February this year.
The survey, prepared by the Observatory of Commerce and Services of the CAC, points out that the Peru Street, in the microcenterwas the most affected, concentrating the largest number of illegal stands. Regarding illegal sale in stations and placesthey identified 60 positionsbeing Withdrawal the terminal with the greatest amount of infractions, with 23 cases, followed by September 11 (22) and Constitution (14).

The survey also included the city of La Platawhere they registered 37 illegal positionswhich represents a fall in 90.5% compared to March 2024 and a decrease in 7.5% compared to the previous month.

The dominant item in the Buenos Aires capital was Clothing and footwearwith a participation of 80.6%followed by Optics, watchmaking, photography and jewelry and Craftsboth with him 8.3%.
The survey was carried out March 1 to 31 through direct observation of illegal positions on sidewalks of avenues, streets, stations, terminals and squares in CABA and La Plata.
