South Korea will negotiate the tariffs threatened by President Donald Trump next week. According to the government statements, Seoul will send Minister of Commerce Minister Ahn Duk Geun and Finance Minister Choi Sang Mok to Washington on Thursday and Friday. The negotiations take place at the request of the US government.
South Korea does not want to “defend”
Previously, temporary president Han Duck has already signaled an oncoming attitude. “South Korea will not defend itself against the US tariffs,” said Han in an interview with the “Financial Times”.
