Rent and sale offers in commercial areas upload

A report details that rental premises increased by 35.3% compared to the anterior bimester and 17.9% compared to March-April last year.

During the Bimestre March-April 2025, there was an increase in the number of premises for rent, for sale or closed in the main commercial arteries of the city of Buenos Aires. According to a survey carried out by the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC)there were a total of 212 empty stores, which represents a 6% rise compared to the same period of 2024, and of 3.4% compared to January-February this year, when 205 had been detected.

The report details that rental premises increased by 35.3% compared to the anterior bimester and 17.9% compared to March-April last year. As for real estate for sale, The jump was even more pronounced: they grew by 37.5% compared to January-February 2025 and 69.2% compared to the same period of 2024.

The survey, which the CAC systematically performs since 2014, covers the most representative commercial areas of the city. In this latest edition, descents were observed in the number of empty premises on Cabildo Avenue (between 4800 and 5500 streets), while increases were reported in corridors such as current avenues, Santa Fe, Córdoba, Avellaneda, Pueyrredón, Rivadavia (in several sections) and the Pedestrian Florida.

The unequal behavior between the different areas reflects the persistence of a complex commercial dynamic, in an still unstable economic context for the sector.
