ADAC grows to 22.2 million members

The growth should last in the next few years, says President Reinicke. At the Annual General Meeting in Berlin, he stands for re -election.

The ADAC grows and grows. Last year the number of its members rose to 22.212,545, as the German press agency learned in the run-up to today’s general meeting (from 10 a.m.) in Berlin. At the end of the year, this corresponds to an increase of around 400,000 members at the end of the year.

Growth should continue: “We assume a further increase. By 2030 it should be at least 24 million,” says President Christian Reinicke. He is pending for his post at the Annual General Meeting, as well as sports president Gerd Ennser, technology president Karsten Schulze and tourism president Karlheinz Jungbeck.

Reinicke has been an ADAC president since 2021. At that time, the number of members was around one million lower. The club’s general meeting, which has its headquarters in Munich, regularly takes place at one of the 18 regional clubs. This is the turn of Berlin this year.
