US President Donald Trump accuses China not to adhere to an agreement with the United States in the ongoing trade dispute. A few weeks ago there was good news: with China, he closed a “quick deal” that would have helped the country economically, Trump wrote on his online platform Truth Social. Everyone was satisfied with it.

“The bad news is that China, which some may not surprise, has completely broken his agreement with us,” said Trump. “So much to be Mr. Nice Guy!” He pushed after. As so often, Trump used capital letters to give his anger emphasis. In the post office, he did not explain what he is establishing the violation of the agreement.

China and the United States had decided to reduce their mutual tariffs in Switzerland in the current trade dispute almost three weeks ago. A joint explanation of the two largest economies on earth showed that this should be temporarily valid for 90 days. The regulation states a reduction in US tariffs to Chinese imports from 145 to 30 percent, while Beijing’s surcharges against imports from the United States go back from 125 percent to 10 percent.

The US President described China’s opening at the time as the most important goal and stated that China had agreed. He also accused China of letting the drug into the country into the country. According to his representation, China agreed to stop this. After the agreement, Trump spoke of a “complete restart” with China and a “very good” relationship with the country.

Most recently, the US government had tightened the tone towards China. For example, she announced that she wanted to withdraw the visa in the United States and to tighten the rules for future applicants from the People’s Republic. It initially remained unclear how many students would be affected by the withdrawal of the residence permit – and to what extent there could be exceptional rules.
