Maternity protection for miscarriages
Women who suffer a miscarriage from the 13th week of pregnancy are now entitled to maternity protection. This gives those affected a legally guaranteed regeneration period for the first time in order to recover from the physical and mental burden of such an event. Depending on the time of the miscarriage, there are different demands.
National Veteran Day
On June 15, the Veterans of the Bundeswehr are to be recognized for the first time at a national veteran day. The central celebration takes place in front of the Reichstag in Berlin, there are further events in many places. Change electricity providers within 24 hours

More accessibility in online trading
From June 28, online retailers will have to offer their portals barrier-free, also for people with disabilities. Then the accessibility law applies. This also applies to banking services or the apps and websites of transport companies.
School holidays
The school year is coming to an end for millions. The first to start the children and young people in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia in the summer vacation-their last day of school is June 27th. New EU rules for smartphones
On June 20, new ecodesign guidelines from the European Union for smartphones and other cordless telephones come into force. For example, the telephones should meet a minimum level of resistance, the batteries should still reach a residual capacity of 80 percent after at least 800 charging cycles and the manufacturers still have to provide spare parts seven years after the sales stop. The aim is to narrow down the environmental impact of the devices.
Gas checks for caravans and motorhomes are mandatory
If you have a motorhome or a caravan with a liquid gas system, you have to prove a regular expert check from June 19. The ADAC points out. With the corresponding change in the road traffic registration regulations (StVZO), it is therefore to be achieved that fewer accidents happen when heating, cooling and cooking in the camper.
Termination for tax declaration
Anyone who is obliged to submit a tax return for 2023 and seek advice from a tax advisor or a income tax relief association should consider the deadline. This applies until June 2.
