On February 15, the State Duma may adopt a bill “On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation”, according to which it is proposed to establish a fine for the production and sale of alcoholic products containing more than 28% ethyl alcohol in plastic packaging, Izvestia found out.
An exception will be containers no larger than 50 ml, as well as imported alcoholic beverages.
For violation of this requirement, it is proposed to punish officials with a fine of 100 thousand to 200 thousand rubles with or without confiscation of the objects of the administrative offense. For legal entities, the violation will cost much more – from 300 thousand to 500 thousand rubles with or without confiscation.
The bill was sponsored by Sergei Ryabukhin, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Financial Markets, Andrei Epishin, Deputy Chairman of the same Committee, and Senator Akhmat Salpagarov.
As Izvestia was confirmed in the profile committee of the State Duma on state construction and legislation, the bill was supported by the committee and submitted for consideration by the parliament.
