Work time recording in companies: “We experience the wildest things”
Whether smoking break or overtime: work time recording has been mandatory since a judgment. Frederik Neuhaus, head of the Clockin Stechhwahr app, reports what reality looks like.
The highest German labor judges decided two and a half years ago: In this country, too, the daily working hours of the employees must be systematically recorded – as a judgment of the ECJ from 2019. More details should actually regulate a German law that is still a long time coming. Nevertheless, the obligation to record working hours already applies to a few exceptions.
