Found prices before Pentecost on a sinking flight

Almost 10 cents have become cheaper since February – even more diesel. There are several reasons.

Shortly before the Pentecost holidays begin, the fuel prices are in a descent. Both super gasoline and diesel have recently binded themselves further, as the ADAC reports. Super E10 cost 1.667 euros per liter in the nationwide daily average of Tuesday. That was 0.4 cents less than a week earlier. Diesel went down by 0.6 cents – to 1.542 euros per liter.

Both types of fuel have been at a run for a long time – with smaller fluctuations. In mid -February, super gasoline per liter was just under 10 cents more expensive, diesel even around 15 cents.

In the meantime, the fuel prices approached an appropriate level in relation to the oil price and dollar course, according to the ADAC. In the diesel in particular, however, the traffic club still sees a little air down given the lower tax.

If you are on the Pentecost holidays shortly before a vacation trip, you should better refuel in the evening after the ADAC recommendation, then the fuel prices are usually lower. If it goes across the border, it is worth finding out in advance. In many neighboring countries such as Poland, the Czech Republic or Austria, fuel is sometimes much cheaper, more expensive in others such as Denmark or Switzerland.

The cause of the price differences are usually different taxes and levies. In contrast, fluctuations in oil prices or the conversion course to the dollar usually affect all countries.
