The average total (pension + salary) income of working pensioners is about 66 thousand rubles a month, and their pension is 14 thousand, the Ministry of Labor told Izvestia, citing data from the Pension Fund.
At the same time, the average insurance pension of non-working pensioners after indexation by 8.6% in 2022 is almost 19 thousand rubles, the ministry specified.
“The average insurance pension of working pensioners is 14,000 rubles. At the same time, according to the Pension Fund of Russia, the total income of working pensioners (insurance pension and wages) averages about 66 thousand rubles a month,” the ministry said.
In December last year, the average pension in Russia was 15,842 rubles, according to Rosstat data. Real pensions (adjusted for inflation) in December 2021 decreased by 2.9% compared to December 2020 and by 0.8% compared to November 2021, according to the materials of the statistical office.
