According to the INDEC, the 4.9% rise in food and non-alcoholic beverages “was the one with the highest incidence in all regions.”
“The most important thing in the division was the increase in vegetables, tubers and legumes, where tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes and onions, among others, stood out. The increase in fruits, especially lemon and orange,” according to INDEC.
According to the list of reference prices released by INDEC, the increases in vegetables such as tomatoes, which rose by 82.2%, and lettuce, with an increase of 51.1%, stood out.
Among fruits, lemons registered an increase of 30.2% per kilo, oranges 25.2%, apples 9% and bananas 8% higher than last December.
The price of potatoes increased by 14.2%, that of onions 11.3% and sweet potatoes 8%, while anko squash fell 4.6%.
The kilo of bread registered an increase of 11.5%, that of common wheat flour 5.7%, rice 5.0%, stew noodles 2.8%, sweet cookies 2.7% and water 1 ,one%.
Among meats, the kilo of hake filet increased by 9.1%, that of chicken by 2.6, while roast rose by 0.8%, shoulder 1.1%, rump 0.5%, and Common minced meat fell 5.0% and buttock 0.3%.
Among dairy products, cream cheese increased by 3.2%, pategras by 3.5%, and Sardinian by 2.9%, while yogurts rose by 3.2%, milk by 1% and eggs by 2. ,4%.
The price of cooked ham with an increase of 4.6% was the one that grew the most among cold cuts, followed by salami with 3.1%, and salami 3.0%, while sunflower oil rose 3.0% .
