Amid the economic deregulation process promoted by the Government, the president of the Central Bank (BCRA), Santiago Bausilihe said that the entity works in new measures to make the export of services by natural persons more flexible.
The focus is to improve the conditions for freelancers, digital nomads and Argentine professionals that provide services abroad, who currently face high commissions, bank obstacles and a system that often rejects its charges.

Although the government had already taken measures in 2024 and early 2025 to eliminate the obligation to liquidate currencies in the free market (MLC) market, now they aim to improve the full financial circuit, from the reception of money to its eventual conversion or retirement.

Until mid -2023, independent workers who exported services had to liquidate their income in the official market, which meant losing up to 50% of the value of their turnover due to the exchange gap.
In July last year, the BCRA allowed to charge up to US $24,000 annually in accounts in dollars without the need to liquidate them. That figure was Extended Au $ S36,000 since January 1, 2025. However, according to sources from the central, after the lifting of much of the stocks, Today there is no operational limit: People can liquidate or conserve their dollars, without an obligation to pass them through the official market.

Why there are still obstacles to collect from the outside
Despite formal flexibility, The Argentine banking system is not prepared For this new paradigm. Many freelancers or SMEs choose to collect their services through Bolsa agents (Alycs) or foreign platforms due to:
-
High bank commissions (up to 10%).
-
Systematic rejections of international transfers.
-
Delays in the accreditation of funds.
-
Lack of transparency in currency conversion.
In this sense, Bausili acknowledged that “The system does not accompany” And he promised to work with banking entities to improve operation and reduce costs, keys for more Argentines to be encouraged to export services without resorting to alternative or directly informal channels.
Stablecoin tied to weight?
In another passage from the interview that provided the official streaming channel Fuckwhere he was accompanied by the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputoand the vice minister José Luis Daza, Bausili slipped the possibility of advancing in a stablecoin tied to weightwhich could function as Value reference for regional trade. Although it did not offer further details, the idea aims to develop financial instruments that allow stabilizing transactions between Mercosur countries or other emerging economies.
Also revealed critical data on the Destruction of the Mintensuring that when assuming, only 10% of the tickets in the country were printed and that the BCRA had to resort to importation from China, where the cost per thousand dropped from US $ 126 au $ S49 in recent tenders.
Caputo criticized Congress and defended Milei
During the same transmission, Luis “Toto” Caputo pointed against the opposition deputies who promoted the projects to increase retirement, establish a pension moratorium and declare the emergency in disability. According to the government, the total fiscal cost of these three measures would be 1.8% of GDP.
“They want to destroy the heart of the model,” Caputo denounced, in line with President Javier Milei, who already anticipated that will veto the laws If they advance in the Senate.
