According to the “Recruitment and Digital Application 2025” report prepared by Bumeran, – which relieved the responses of more than 5,200 professionals from Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Panama and Peru— shows a labor ecosystem that adopted the digital environment not only as a management toolbut also as a meeting space between supply and demand for employment. In Argentina, 97% of workers already postulate jobs through platforms such as Bumeran.


Advantages of the digital model
Among the advantages indicated by human resources experts are flexibility in the process (54%), the best data analysis, time reduction thanks to automated tools and the possibility of accessing a broader and more diverse candidate base. In addition, 73% of recruiters highlight that having updated CVS facilitates the process and improves the chances of being contacted.
There is also a strong adoption of artificial intelligence tools: 46% of specialists consider them equally effective as traditional methods and 50% believe they are “much more effective.” In the future, 62% projects that the use of AI will be even more decisive in selection processes.

On the workers’ side, the report reveals that 51% prefer 100% digital processes and 74% believe that platforms increase their possibilities to get job. In addition, 65% consider that postulating digitally is much simpler than traditional methods.
Talents value the ease of use, the variety of offers, the possibility of receiving notifications aligned to their profile, and time savings. In fact, 46% postulate every day or when you see publications of your interest.
Consulted on how they imagine recruitment in five yearsboth specialists and applicants agree on two key projections: greater use of artificial intelligence (62% of HR and 42% of talents) and fully digitized processes.
This panorama confirms a deep transformation of the work world, where technology not only facilitates contact between companies and candidates, but also redefines the way to evaluate, select and hire talents throughout the region.
