René Benko’s Signa empire has collapsed, the insolvency administrators try to make the remains of money. Therefore, the complete inventory of Benko’s luxury villa on Lake Garda is now auctioned. The Aurena auction house has recorded around 1800 furnishing and other pieces, for which everyone can hand over a bid by July 14th.
A look at the inventory list is also a look at Benkos’s former luxury life. Extravagant furniture, sculptures and a gold-decorated pomp toilet are auctioned, among other things. Other auction pieces, on the other hand, are refreshingly banal: everything is included, from children’s trampoline to FC Bayern football. The photo gallery shows some of the auction highlights.
