Airbus collects orders at Messe – Boeing goes away empty -handed

At the world’s largest aviation fair in Le Bourget, Le Bourget, corporations present their innovations and do flight demonstrations – but it is also about concrete business.

In contrast to its US competitor Boeing, the European manufacturer Airbus received several aircraft orders at the world’s largest aviation fair in Le Bourget near Paris. From Monday to Thursday, Airbus, together with his customers, announced more than 250 machines, a few of which had already been announced or booked. The crisping provider Boeing from the USA went completely empty until the end, after a large 787 “Dreamliner” area had crashed just a few days before the fair.

Orders from Saudi Arabia, Vietnam and Poland

One of the biggest deals at the fair was the festival order of the new state Saudi Arabic airline Riyadh Air over 25 copies of the Airbus A350-1000, which has been the largest model in the catalog of the world’s largest aircraft manufacturer since the end of production.

Further orders from various machines were received by the Saudi Arabic aircraft financier Avilease. The Vietnamese Vietjet signed a preliminary contract for 100 aircraft. Airbus scored in Poland for the smaller machines: The Lot airline there ordered 40 copies of the smallest Airbus model A220.
