Katja Burkard (60) was successfully operated on. This revealed the moderator of the RTL program “Point 12” to her followers. In a story she posted a picture from her hospital bed on Monday evening. In the photo you can see her legs, which are stuck in a blue and white striped trousers. The operated right knee is covered by a kind of thick pillow. The foot on the same leg is also bandaged.

“Thumbs up and almost toes up!”, Katja Burkard wrote to the hospital selfie. “I was operated on the meniscus today and very, very grateful that it all worked out so well.” The RTL veteran also thanks the team of the clinic in Cologne-Merheim.

On Tuesday morning, Katja Burkard reported with an update from the hospital. : One shows one thing in bed how she can taste the food from the tray. In the second picture she stands between two treating doctors – dressed in a green training suit.

One day after the knee surgery, she has “no pain” and “no swelling,” writes the moderator. In addition, she could go without crutches.
