Halyna Hutchins’ family is suing Alec Baldwin
It recently became known that the relatives of the deceased camerawoman are suing actor Alec Baldwin (63) and other people and production companies. Halyna Hutchins was fatally injured on the film’s set in October after Baldwin apparently accidentally fired a gun. The actor later claimed he didn’t pull the trigger.
In the wrongful death lawsuit, the family accuses the defendants of gross negligence. The police confirmed that there was live ammunition in the gun. Also accused is the assistant director David Halls, who had passed the gun to Baldwin. He told the police that he had not checked them closely enough.
