Like his father William, Prince George should visit the British eton college. The school is one of the best – and most expensive – educational institutions in the world.
After months of speculation, the decision about Prince George’s further school career seems to have been made. , the eldest son of Prince William and Princess Kate will probably visit the renowned eton college – just like his father. “All paths lead to eton,” the British newspaper insider quotes from the palace environment over the prestigious boy school.
Prince George visited Eton with his parents as early as 2023
It was already indicated in 2023 that Eton is a hot candidate for the King of next. At that time, Prince George was spotted together with his parents when visiting the school. The visit fueled the speculation that the elite boarding school could be the first choice for the second place in the throne.
The decision has not yet been officially announced, but in fact it should have long since been made. Although Eton only takes up college students between the ages of 13 and 18, they must be registered by June 30 of the school year in which the boy turns ten. After this date, according to the school website there is “only the way through scholarships”.
How the cool heir to the throne turned out of the chubby baby

Family tradition and royal connections
The Eton College looks back on a long story with the royal family. Both Prince William and Prince Harry attended school as a teenager. When William was enrolled in 1995, he was the first high -ranking Royal to visit Eon. However, he already had family connections to school because both Princess Diana’s brother and her father were students there.
Some of the cousins of Queen Elizabeth II-including the Duke of Kent, the Duke of Gloucester and Prince Michael of Kent-were eton students. The tradition now seems to be continuing with Prince George.
The fees for eton amount to the equivalent of over 60,000 euros per year. According to the school website, this price covers “lessons, food, accommodation and the costs for most sporting activities as well as most of the teaching materials. In addition, variable extras, such as music lessons, optional insurance, membership in the boat club and school excursions.”
Proximity to the family home home
A practical advantage: Although Eon is a boarding school, it is only a short drive by Adelaide Cottage, the family home in Windsor. Prince George will therefore be able to visit his parents and siblings without any problems-just like William, who regularly at lunch during his eton period with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are currently visiting the Lambrook School together. If the eton rumors come true, Louis could later switch there like George.
Charlotte, on the other hand, will not be able to accompany her brothers to the pure boy school. It is quite possible that she will follow her mother’s educational path in a few years and visit the Marlborough College. However, the decision about your further school career is not yet immediately pending.
