“Let’s Dance” dancer Malika Dzumaev has to struggle with health problems. The 34-year-old suffered a herniated disc and had to be operated on.
Malika Dzumaev, known as a professional dancer from the RTL show “Let’s Dance”, spoke up personally for the first time after her operation. The 34-year-old had previously made public that she suffered from an acute herniated disc on the cervical spine-a diagnosis that she forced to cancel this year’s professional challenge. In the beginning, Dzumaev still had the hope of being able to avoid the intervention. But ultimately an operation was essential.
On Instagram she shared an update with her fans and followers. “I did it today. My first anesthesia, my very first op and a lot of fears!” She writes about a photo from the hospital bed. She wanted to report to her followers “if I have rested something”.

Despite the diagnosed herniated disc incident and the operation that has now been made, Dzumaev is planned for the “Let’s Dance” tour 2025, which takes place in November throughout Germany. It remains to be seen whether she will be fit enough for the dance floor again.
