Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht arrested at Hamburg Airport
Hotel stay with bad consequences: Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht was arrested in Hamburg. The basis is said to be a European arrest warrant.
Actor and musician Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht was arrested on Wednesday afternoon at the entry from Dubai on Wednesday afternoon at Hamburg Airport.
Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht is said not to have paid hotel bills
The 33-year-old is said to have not paid a hotel bill in Tyrol in December 2021. According to “Bild”, it is about an open claim of around 14,000 euros. The public prosecutor in Innsbruck then applied for a European arrest warrant, the authority confirmed when asked by RTL. This was now apparently executed by the federal police in the Hanseatic city.
The reason for the arrest warrant is “risk of escape and act,” said the spokeswoman. Because Ochsenknecht gave the public prosecutor an Italian address where he was neither reported nor was it found. The German judiciary must now decide on a possible delivery to Austria.
The German authorities now have to decide how to proceed for Ochsenknecht. The invoice has now been paid, as a spokesman for Ochsenknecht Management said. A confirmation on the part of the Innsbruck public prosecutor’s office was initially pending. In the later Wednesday afternoon, the 33-year-old was still at the airport. Ochsenknecht himself spoke on Instagram of a “misunderstanding”. “We are clarifying.”
The host of the affected hotel, however, recently indicated the unpaid invoice. “It was all a planned fraud! I am convinced that he did not want to pay from the start. Soon or later, he will hopefully be in prison and receive his righteous punishment!” He said “Bunte” in May. The public prosecutor confirmed the illustrated at the time for suspicion of fraud.
From the public prosecutor’s point of view, the matter would not yet be done with the subsequent payment, as a spokeswoman for the authority of the dpa news agency said. There is still a suspicion of fraud against Ochsenknecht.
Civil law proceedings against Ochsenknecht already concluded
Previously, a civil law procedure against Ochsenknecht had been carried out because of the unpaid hotel bill, as the Innsbruck district court had already confirmed at the end of 2024. After Ochsenknecht had neither appeared on the process nor had commented on the matter, it was decided in favor of the hotel, as it was said.
The former children’s star (“Die Wilden Kerle”) was most recently seen in reality formats on television-among others in the family show “These Oxenknechts”.
