Various prices, a fashion deal and soon Bruce Springsteen: Jeremy Allen White is currently everywhere-now he is returning to the stove in season 4 of “The Bear”.

The hyped series The Bear has won a total of 21 Emmys – and made its main actor Jeremy Allen White a superstar. Now the fourth season of the gastro series starts on Disney+.

In it, White plays the traumatized chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, who, after his brother’s suicide, tries to transform his family’s snack on his family together with a small team into a gourmet restaurant – against all resistance, internally and externally.

Does the restaurant get its first star?

The fourth season is primarily about the question: Does the restaurant get its first star? In addition to the high professional pressure, the characters also have to fight with emotional challenges.

As a spectator, you are in the middle of the hectic events of the kitchen. And that is special about “The Bear”: the series hardly leaves breath because it creates an atmosphere with documentary realism, close attitudes and overlapping dialogues that feels almost physically.

That is why “The Bear” is so popular

“The Bear” is not a series to look. It is probably so popular because of that. At the center of all of this: Jeremy Allen White, who is celebrated for his emotional representation of a chef in crisis mode. Carmy is sensitive and closed, awesome, but self -destructive – and in the opinion of his fans, White expresses all of this particularly well.

The success of the series catapulted the American far beyond the streaming world. For “The Bear” he was not only awarded several prices, but also became the new favorite of the Internet world-for example as the face of a large-scale Calvin-Klein campaign that went viral.

Again and again he can also be seen on the cinema screen, sometimes in a prestigious role: in a biopic about Bruce Springsteen, White plays the young “Boss” in the early 1980s. The path from the indie actor to a busy Hollywood star seems finally paved.
