With Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, the film about the founding of Facebook was a great success. Now Aaron Sorkin is working on a second part.
The multi -award -winning film about the creation of Facebook, “The Social Network”, gets a second part. Aaron Sorkin, who wrote the script for the first part, takes over the director and again the script, as several US media unanimously reported.
The sequel should therefore deal with the revelations of the Whistleblower Frances Haugen from 2021. Haugen had published internal documents and testified before the US Congress. It accused the operators of the social network of subordinate to the protection of its users. The “Wall Street Journal” reported on the documents in the “The Facebook Files” series.
In 2010, actor Jesse Eisenberg embodied the role of young Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network” and got an Oscar nomination as the best leading actor. It is still unclear whether he plays the role of the Facebook founder again in the second part. At the 2011 Oscar Awards, the film won the best adapted script, the best film music and the best cut and was nominated as the best film, for directing, camera and sound.
The film appears at the Sony film studio and, according to reports by Todd Black, Peter Rice, Aaron Sorkin and Stuart, is produced better.
