Although its official trajectory was brief (the band dissolved in July 1995 shortly after the launch of its LP), the legacy of Jazz was held thanks to its influence on multiple subsequent projects, such as American Football, The Promise Ring and Joan of Arcamong others. In 1998, the Analphabetapolothology compilation arrived, which compiled his discography (cuts, demos and live material) and reinforced his underground cult.
In 2025, the band undertook a tour of Europe and the United States celebrating the 30th anniversary of Schmap’n Shmazz, which will give rise to this historical return that lands for the first time in Buenos Aires.
