Casting plaice of the indictment: Combs committed many crimes
For six weeks, the jury heard about three dozen witnesses in the trial of rapper Sean Combs. Now the closing plates have started in New York – first with the indictment.
In the lawsuit against Sean Combs, the indictment of the former rap superstar in her final Splädoyer accused the management of a “criminal company”. “In the past few weeks, you have learned a lot about Sean” Diddy “Combs,” said deputy prosecutor Christy Slavik of the jury in New York, as US media unanimously reported.
“He is the leader of a criminal company. He does not accept any contradiction and now you know the many crimes that the accused committed with members of his company.” Among other things, Slavik had kidnapping, arson, bribery, forced labor and sex trading – and reminded the jurors that two women had testified that Combs had repeatedly forced them to sex with other men.
Combs threatens lifelong prison sentence
According to the court, the closing plates could take up to and including Friday. After the indictment, the defense follows before the jury should take over. The twelve jurors have to decide on the musician’s guilt or innocence. You have as much time for your consultations as you need – so it could take a few hours or many days until a judgment. Previously, more than 30 witnesses and witnesses had been interviewed in the New York process.
The 55 -year -old Combs denies all accusations and did not guilty. In the event of a conviction, he threatens a lifelong prison sentence.
