Kardashian robbery: Defender died shortly after guilty

Kim Kardashian was the victim of a robbery years ago. The perpetrators were only convicted in May 2025, now one died at the age of 69.
One of the convicts died one month after the guilt saying in the process of robbery on US reality star Kim Kardashian 2016 in Paris. The Didier Dubreucq, suffering from lung cancer, died on Thursday morning at the age of 69, as announced from judicial circles. He had undergone chemotherapy.
Dubrucq – nickname “Blue Eye” – was convicted on May 23 with seven other defendants because of the robbery on Kardashian almost nine years ago. According to the public prosecutor, he was the second of the attackers in the suite of the reality TV star in a Paris luxury residence.

However, Dubreucq competed in the process. “I have nothing to do with it,” he said. He had left his criminal career behind for a long time. “I’m a good boy.”
However, the court did not believe him – and distributed him to two years in prison and five more years in prison on probation. Because of the time he had served in custody, Dubreucq did not have to go back to prison after the judgment. The 69-year-old was not present during the last trial days and the pronouncement of the judgment because he was in the hospital.
In the spectacular attack on Kim Kardashian during the Paris Fashion Week in October 2019, the perpetrators captured jewelry worth nine million euros. Two of the perpetrators were disguised as police officers and arrested in Kardashian’s suite at night, the influencer had tied up, gagged and stolen their jewelry. Under the loot was also the engagement ring from Kardashian’s relationship with rapper Kanye West, which she had previously presented on selfies on the Internet.
Because of their advanced age, the accused were called “robber opis” in the French press. The public prosecutor, on the other hand, said that it was “experienced criminals with connections to organized crimes”.
